3 nights’ Luxury Accommodation

The Buckland Studio Retreat – Private, architecturally-designed studio accommodation for up to 4 couples tucked away in the picturesque Buckland Valley. The 4 studios are a romantic retreat, each designed for one couple only

The Kiln House – Two old tobacco sheds transformed into spacious accommodation with imposing views of Mt Buffalo. The main bedroom with king sized bed and adjoining bathroom with a spa, has floor to ceiling views of Mt Buffalo and the vineyard. The second bedroom has a king sized bed and shares a separate bathroom and the third bedroom has two sets of king single bunks.

3 delicious dinners accompanied by fine local wines

Simones of Bright Patrizia and George Simone first opened their restaurant in 1984. Patrizia is an icon of the area and combines her Italian food heritage with the bounty of fresh produce available in the Northeast valleys of Victoria. Awarded two hats by The Age Good Food Guide in 2008. Three course dinner including a glass of wine to match each course.

Villa Gusto New-Zealand born Neal Gregory is chef at this award-winning restaurant with its fabulous grand dining room offering breathtaking views to Mount Buffalo. Each evening he presents a 5-course degustation menu inspired by the diverse range of produce available in northeast Victoria. Dinner includes an Italian style wine.

Gourmet platter at your accommodation: Relax at your luxury boutique accommodation and enjoy a freshly prepared platter of gourmet produce from the Alpine Valleys with a glass or two of local wine.

Murray to the Mountains Rail trail with Gourmet Lunch at Boynton’s Winery and complimentary 6-pack of Alpine Valley Wines.

Explore the pretty town of Bright before setting off by bicycle along the beautiful Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail (bicycles and helmets provided). Stop off at Boynton’s winery and relax in the garden over a delicious lunch and a bottle of their wine taking in the breathtaking views to Mount Feathertop. Continue on, downhill (!) to Myrtleford, passing wineries, nut and berry farms and the Ovens Pub. Transport back to your accommodation provided.

Microlight Flight

A 30-minute flight over beautiful Bright and the National Trust village of Wandiligong. See orchards and vineyards before climbing to 6500’ up to Mount Buffalo and the historic alpine chalet. Breathtaking views of the Alpine National Park. Includes instruction and hands-on opportunity. Equally suitable for young, old and disabled. Serene engine-off glide back to the airstrip.

Kayaking with 5-Star Adventures: Spend the morning kayaking, under instruction, on the Ovens River before returning to Bright for a delicious gourmet platter.

Alpine Valleys Winery Tour: Half-day guided tour of the wineries of the Alpine Valleys.
